Poker Offline

Free Texas Hold'em with friends over local WiFi. No server, no accounts, no internet.

To play poker offline with friends, everyone opens Poker Offline in a phone browser on the same WiFi network — a phone's hotspot works fine, too. One person hosts and starts a table, everyone else joins by scanning a QR code, and the app deals real hands of Texas Hold'em with no internet, no server, and nothing to install from an app store.

Why Poker Offline?

  • 📡Truly offlineRuns entirely on your local network with zero servers involved. Once the page has loaded once, it keeps working with no signal at all — great for flights, road trips, campsites, or a basement with no WiFi.
  • 📷One-scan connectJoin a game by scanning a single QR code from the host's phone. The two phones exchange a handshake and link up peer-to-peer over WiFi — no pairing codes, PINs, or usernames to type.
  • 👥Up to 10 playersFull No-Limit Texas Hold'em with blinds, antes, side pots, all-ins, and showdowns worked out automatically, so the table plays like a real cash game without anyone needing to track the math.
  • 🔒Private by designYour hole cards are dealt only to your own device and stay hidden by default — tap to peek, tap to hide again. Nobody else's phone ever sees them until showdown.
  • 📱Installable appAdd Poker Offline to your home screen from the browser and it behaves like a native app, launching instantly with no store, no download, and no connection required to open it.
  • 🏆Live standingsA session leaderboard, hand history, running chip counts, and the winning hand from every showdown are always one tap away, so the table can settle up honestly at the end of the night.
  • ⏱️Host-set turn timerThe host can set a per-turn clock (or turn it off entirely) to keep the game moving, plus adjust buy-in, blinds, and ante before the first hand is dealt.
  • 🔄Resume anytimeIf a phone disconnects or the app closes mid-hand, the full table state is mirrored to every device — reopen the app, tap Resume, and pick up right where the table left off.

How to play

  1. One person hosts. Tap "Host a table", then set the buy-in, small and big blind, an optional ante, and a turn timer if you want one.
  2. Friends join. Each player taps "Join", scans the host's QR code to link up over the shared WiFi, then shows their own code back so the host's phone confirms the connection.
  3. Deal. The host starts the hand — a shuffled digital deck is dealt privately to every phone, so each player only ever sees their own two hole cards.
  4. Play it out. Bet, call, raise, or fold on your turn as the board runs out through the flop, turn, and river.
  5. Showdown and standings. The best hand takes the pot automatically, chip counts update on every phone, and the session leaderboard keeps score across as many hands as you want to play.
